For bhakhri pizza base
· ½ cup wheat flour, ½ cup coarse wheat flour, Salt to taste, 4 tbsp oil, ½ cup water
➡️ In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, coarse wheat flour, and salt. Add oil and mix everything into flour. Now add water gradually and knead tight dough. Cover and rest the dough for 10 minutes. Now divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out each portion and cut it into a 4-inch diameter circle. Then prick rolled bhakhri with a fork. Place the rolled bhakhri on the heated tawa on low-medium heat. Cook each rolled portion of the bhakri dough on both sides until slightly golden brown, putting light pressure using a kitchen towel or a wooden press, so the insides cook evenly.
For the pizza sauce:
➡️ Take 4-5 finely chopped tomatoes and 2 finely chopped onions, some garlic paste. Put oil in a pan, add ajwain seeds, asafoetida, onion, garlic and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Put the tomatoes and then add salt and sugar as per taste. Now let the mixture cook for 15-20 minutes. Use a blender and then make it a paste.
➡️ Bhakhri pizza base is ready, keep it aside. On hot tawa, spread some butter and roast bhakhri pizza for 2 minutes. Now lower the flame, and on pizza base apply some pizza sauce, spread some cheese, ( you can add onion slices, tomato, capsicum, black olive pieces, and some sweet corn if the child likes it with veggies)
Sprinkle some seasoning as per taste.
Cover and cook pizza on low flame till cheese is completely melted and the pizza base becomes crispy.
➡️ Serve bhakhri pizza with tomato sauce.
